Press-cutting service of the first wireless communications operator in Belarus BelCel JV announces the tariffs reduction for the telecom services in NMT standard.

Cost for the internal traffic has been decreased in 10 times, calls to a landline have been decreased by 10 percent, and monthly fee has been reduced more than twice.

“By offering the lowest tariffs in the telecom market we do not pursue the object to increase the number of NMT subscribers,” Deputy Commercial Director on customer operations Sergey Roschenya has commented on the company steps forward to the revolutionary tariffs reduction. “Reducing the tariffs we express our gratitude to the subscribers, which stay with us and keep on using the services of the first wireless network in Belarus. Up to now our company serves the subscribers who were networked more than ten years ago. I’m confident that such a grand tariff reduction enables telecom services to become really available for the broad masses”.

Four tariff plans: BASIC, BUSINESS, UNLIMITED and FIXED have become available to NMT subscribers from March 1, 2004.

In order to improve service all subscribers that use NMT standard under other tariff plans have migrated to the tariff plan BASIC that has more beneficial pricing offers.

BelCel JV is the first wireless communications operator in the Republic of Belarus. The company has been providing cellular communications services since May 1993.

From July 15, 2003 the company started to provide services in cdma2000 (IMT-MC-450) standard under the brand name DIALLOG. DIALLOG offers a wide range of the unique value -added services: a high-speed Internet access via a mobile phone (data rate speeds up to 153 kbps).

• DIALLOG-INFO – the interactive voice informational service. Having called by number 910 company subscriber can get the weather forecast, actual financial information, score of football matches, funny stories, toasts, omens, etc. Likewise, a dating service where the subscriber can listen to and record voice questionnaires for acquaintances.
  
  
• DIALLOG-CHAT - the voice service available to the subscribers of all telephone networks. Service number is + 375 29 4 920 920 (920 – for company subscribers). DIALLOG-CHAT enables subscribers to communicate with each other in various virtual rooms: “Conversations”, “Acquaintances”, “Humor”. Moreover, there are private—rooms for two users.
  
  
• DIALLOG-MOBILE – the mobile portal for DIALLOG subscribers. Portal interface is specially built for user-friendly navigation from your cellphone. The user gets the access to various information from news and exchange rates to humor and leisure.

BelCel network covers in total 61% of the nationwide territory. 72% of commonwealth reside on this territory including 79% of urban population.
